18Jun My Alexa Rank After 81 Days Blogging
I’ve post about My Alexa Rank After 50 Days Blogging before. Today, I’ve some update about my Alexa rank again. After 81 days of blogging, my Alexa rank has decrease to 424,482 from 1,017,567. I know, it’s still not really impress. My goal is to get below 100,000. Can I do it? It seems that I need to work more harder. Wish me luck =)

You know what, I still do not know how Alexa works and what my ratings on it are.
I know a lot of people talk about it, but I guess I have chosed not to care. Perhaps one day I will feel inclined to find out.
There is just soooo much in terms of analytics and status labels out there where ranking and traffic is concerned….

I’ve read so many posts about Alexa ranking when I started blogging. And there is this plugin for firefox where we can see both the PR and Alexa ranking which my hubby installed in our other PC. But until now, I still don’t know how to increase my ranking. One way is to downlead alexa toolbar, I don’t how it works really. But you’re almost there, just wait a little more.

My Alexa toolbar still shows your ranking at #424,482
I wish my website http://www.manyholes.com will squeeze into top #400,000 in upcoming months too.

I checked my blog after one month blogging and it was very pityful lol, I can’t understand why Alexia’s information are very limited comparing to the one I get from my Hostgator Hosting… I will have to use my Adword voucher I got from Hostgator for free so as to increase my PR…

Though on one side many webmaster doesn’t find Alexa to be very accurate but I feel it’s a nice measurement of traffic.
Adding my 2 cents on how you can improve your alexa ranking is :
Use Alexa widget on your blog.
Write article targeting Social media sites like Digg, SU and reddit. Sudden Spike on your traffic, will boost your alexa ranking.
And Update your blog on regular basis.

Getting under 100k is pretty easy. Getting under 50k is hard.

Well done, keep the good work up and you will be under 100,000 soon. I know some people don’t care about Alexa, they rather concentrate on Google rank.

Personally Alexa doesn’t mean much to me. As long as the visitors coming to my website enjoy the content that’ll make me extremely happy. With that said, building up your Alexa pagerank is a great goal if your main concern is developing a larger influence on a specific topic or niche.

That is a good jump and based on your content and your regular readers, I am sure you will crack 100k soon. It took me about 4 months to get below 100k. As deneil said, cracking 50k is a REAL challenge. My 30 days is right around %)k ad I am working very hard to keep it there. Good luck to you. I am on blogging for last 5 months and around 260 blog posts but still only 29 plus visitors are there on my blog.

I make 300 drops on Entrecard daily… it helped push my Alexa rating. It’s now below 100K! But my PR remains telur ayam… but I’m not bothered… hehe

Have you try blog commenting? Another free ways to drive visitors to your blog. People need to know about your blog and they will know about it after you show your blog on the net.
