21May Three Tools That I need For Blogging
Before you started to post something new on your blog, what are the important tools that you need?
For me, there are 3 tools that I need before I started to blog.
1. Firefox

This is my favourite browser. I’ve been using Firefox for a very long. Maybe that’s why I love Firefox so much =)
2. Adobe Photoshop

I usually use Adobe Photoshop to resize the picture that I screen Shot.
3. Filezilla.

Another important tool for me to start writing a post. It’s best way for me to connect to my server. It easy to use. You can download Filezilla HERE. It’s free =)

I use Firefox and Photostop, for a FTP client I use free but much more functional and effective client – BitKinex.
Additionally I like to use Windows Live Writer and Snagit capturing software.

In the addition to the software that you mention, I also use bordermaker to batch resize images for other blogs.
I use FireFox 99% of the time when browsing the internet. However, if you do any modifications to your blog template make sure you view your blog in IE as well. As you know sometimes your site might not display correctly in IE. I learn the hard way last time

That’s not much of a reason to really life Firefox especially for blogging. What really would make Firefox a good tool to blog would be the addons that go with it.
Abduction for saving screenshots of whole webpages.
Ubiquity for instant command line interface in Firefox.
Web Developer to test out your blog and troubleshoot any design problems.
Evernote for saving clips and notes of anything (even words within pictures) for you to blog about later.
All of it is only as powerful as you are capable of using it.

Awesome post. Whilst I agree those things are really important, I think you missed one off…WORDPRESS! It’s easily the best blogging CMS and is, in my opinion, a crucial part in the success of any blog!

Filezilla is use to transfer files from your computer or pc to your server. It’s more easy and faster using Filezilla as you connect directly with the server =)
